On visiting the quaint village of Ditchling, I called into the Bull Inn. I ordered a pint of lager with lime and after sipping it I told the barmaid that it was flat. I was very surprised to be told that the reason the lager was flat was because I had lime in it ! Begrudgingly my pint was replaced. I wonder if anybody else has ever been told that the lime makes the lager flat? I think the Bull pub should parhaps be called the Cock and Bull

I have to say I can totally agree with you, this pub is for the local inbreeds, I went there once and ordered a bowl of olives at 2.30pm and they couldnt serve me because the kitchen was "closed"

Ron, if you drink lager and lime, then I think you should change your name to 'Big girls knicker wearing Ron'
