having driven from seaford to pick my children up from Lewes Leisure centre i was totaly unaware that i couldnt get past tesco's, surely it would have been an idea to divert traffic from the southerham roundabout. After having to backtrack and go back onto the A27 then go past the prison i ended up being 10 mins late!!!

that may well be but as i dont live in Lewes and have come into the town via the A27 surely it would have been an idea to put warning signs up before the sotherham roundabout!

EVERY legal way to drive to Friars Walk and surroundings is blocked. If you need to do this, the choice is to drive DOWN School Hill, or WESTBOUND along Cliffe High Street. If only they had introduced these options as official diversions, three-quarters of the problems would have evaporated.
Anyway, it was good to see the skateboarders out, enjoying a guaranteed free-of-traffic run down School Hill.
