Late the other night it sounded like a knackered helicopter was trying to take off and then 6am this morning it sounded like someone was scrapping it. What is with all this flipping noise?? Maybe coming from Malling Brooks ind est area?

Sunday night was very noisy in Malling, and I'm sure I was woken in the early hours by firecrackers! Something to do with the resurfacing in Ringmer? Nothing showing locally on Highways web-site and it did sound like road resurfacing.

Never mind that, what's with the seagulls making a god-awful racket at 3 am the last couple of weeks? why aren't they out at sea where they belong?

I'd imagine the seagulls are around because it's flying ant season. It's generally a sign that the ants are about to take flight when you see a lot of seagulls around. Either that or there's a storm brewing out at sea.
