Apologies first: This thread is too good to die.
I couldn't live like our fellow humans in bus and van world
but I like the idea of it.
I expect there are lots of spontaneous gatherings and popping's in on
I have children though and that makes it a less attractive proposition.
Live and let live?

For the young and footloose it must surely have it's attractions .Cant get a job ,never going to be able to buy a home.looking for their independence .Mum and Dad wants the house to themselves, who can blame them ,at least they are not geting P---ed every Friday and Saturday night beating up people and vandalising cars Get used to it I suspect we will see a lot more of this in the coming years

I can see the attraction. Even more appealing is living on the waterways in a narrowboat, something that a lot of traveller types took to when the law was changed to prevent their gatherings and impound their vehicles.
Unfortunately, I think I would find it rahter cramped after a while, even on a 65 foot boat.
On Fri 13 Jul 2012 at: 11:54 and ther's more!
Well Pan, it looks like your predictions were correct,
As far as I can tell, they have moved their extended family in just over the river and into the Tesco car park.
There were a few caravans parked up at the petrol station end this morning.
At this rate they will take over the entire car park and industrial estate before dinner!

Whats all the moaning about?
Every one needs somewhere to live, tramps reside in shop doorways, crusties reside where they can.
Live and let live.
Canal boat.....I would love to live on one of those! 0 0

If I were a trustafarian or a web designer I definitely would.
