Apologies first: This thread is too good to die.
    Secondly......
I couldn't live like our fellow humans in bus and van world
but I like the idea of it.
I expect there are lots of spontaneous gatherings and popping's in on
    your neighbour.
I have children though and that makes it a less attractive proposition.
    Live and let live?

    Indeed Mr Crustie!
Better than the High Street, something for every taste,
    animal, vegetable & mineral.

I can see the attraction. Even more appealing is living on the waterways in a narrowboat, something that a lot of traveller types took to when the law was changed to prevent their gatherings and impound their vehicles.
Unfortunately, I think I would find it rahter cramped after a while, even on a 65 foot boat.

Well Pan, it looks like your predictions were correct,
As far as I can tell, they have moved their extended family in just over the river and into the Tesco car park.
There were a few caravans parked up at the petrol station end this morning.
At this rate they will take over the entire car park and industrial estate before dinner!

    Whats all the moaning about?
Every one needs somewhere to live, tramps reside in shop doorways, crusties reside where they can.
    Live and let live.

If I were a trustafarian or a web designer I definitely would.
