Barcombe High Street parking

Now the "Chelsea" tractors that use Barcombe as a rat-run are a bigger menace. (Barcombe Mills is shut for road works for a week next Wednesday, so some respite there)
Yellow lines and no parking will make it easier to pop into the shop. You never see a Bluebottle in Barcombe.

the yellow lines. Because it's in a conservation area, the lines are supposed to be narrow and primrose in colour - you've got it, they're yellow and wide!

It was pointed out to him but he said "I just been told to do it so I got to do it" It's known in the trade as the "German Defence".

I am fed up of the Tory ESCC dictating our parking policy after bent 'consultation' sops. I do not like the blue clad Lewes based storm troopers who descend en-mass on our quiet village every now again and book virtually everyone who's parked in the High Street. I abhor the stupidly dangerous tyre-bursting curbs the Highways Authority have stuck by the side of the country lanes in all the most inconvenient places. I detest the fact that LDC do not listen to our local parish council when planning matters are considered. And I'd also be glad if our right-wing libertarian ESCC Councillor Donna Edmonds did not darken our village with her avowed imperative to privatise the National Health.
The UK needs true local democracy. We should declare Barcombe a Republic now!
