Ok, whilst we're all venting our spleen at Tesco, im going to have my turn.
I really don't care how un-pc this is but i can't believe the amount of disabled motorised vehicles that seem to wonder aimlessly around the aisles as if it were Silverstone. Ive just counted 7 in there on a sunday morning. I have nothing against disbled people per-se but their mode of transport should be banned.
It's not as if the users are particularly polite or clued up in the ways of supermarket etiquete. One old lady has a vehicle that puts my car to shame.
So come on Tescos...ban these menaces in normal hours and just set aside an hour between 11pm and midnight when they can terrorise each other
    Thank me later

Well at least four of those so called disabled people are very fit and able. One of whom has been conning us the tax-payers for over 30 years.
I always give her my best Paddington Bear stare because she knows that I know her nast secret! One of the others is a well know drug dealer (albeit small dealer).
To be fair to Tescos they did ban two of them for awhile.

It's been such a nice day, possibly the first real day of summer, that only now am I replying to barmy-army. When he gets old and decrepid he may value the use of a mobility scooter. Yes, there is one lady in Lewes who has a very ostentatious scooter; but the majority are only trying to lead as normal a life as possible given their disability.
I have also noticed the number cars parked in the disabled bays, not displaying a blue badge. Tesco should be fining these cars £70 for incorrect parking, as stated on their notices.

Of course you will have been able to enjoy the new layout in Tesco's by now. Much reduced width of aisles, so three trolleys cant get pass each other, over effective refrigeration, giving us all goose bumps (wonder we didn't all get salmonella before)
But wanted to say mainly, we were once witness to a customer forgetting their crutches at the till, now can you believe that? We thought we had witnessed a miracle, until the cashier called them back and they re-hobbled away. Awkward !!

Speaking of mobility scooters. An elderly lady couldn't use the pavement outside our house as a bollard and signpost have been helpfully put right in the centre of the pavement. She had to reverse to a drop kerb and then drive up the street on the road.
Who do we contact on the council (and which council ?) about bollard positioning and moving signposts ???

Jude, it's a county council matter. Try the fault reporting system at the link below or contact your county councillor: Rosalyn St Pierre if you live in Bridge Ward of Ruth O'Keeffe in Castle or Priory.

I see Tesco have got something right. They have removed the granite setts from their entrance. It's now a nice smooth ride into their car park or filling station.
