Someone told me you guys had been moaning about/supporting the tubthumpers after late night shopping well I thought I'd read what you've been saying, and I am surprised at the malicious tone that some of you have used. Do you think it is necessary to mention Adams full name on this forum? When you all quite happily hide behind your pseudonyms.
I am proud to play with the tubthumpers, I was playing with one arm behind my back and a drink in the other, I wasn't out of time. We practice weekly and are trying to improve each time we play (only started in April.)- It's Christmas we thought we would pass on some cheer - which we did!
(Might I add we did stop when we realised we were interrupting the drama thingy and the Carol singers didn't seem that bothered.)
MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU MISERABLE LOT xMONKEY

I also like the tub thumpers and know some of them. What is the matter with people like ron? Obviously leading a very sad little life somewhere to be so nasty about a nice group of people who have got together to have a laugh and try something different. Why dont you get a hobby ron or is your only hobby coming onto forums and slagging off people - I feel sorry for you!

Sponge bob, yes we are all Cliffe members, but we were representing the tubthumpers on late night shopping - it is just a bit of fun and most of the people I saw in the crowds were dancing and enjoying themselves, isn't that the whole point? FUN? Do you remember that? No malice intended. Monkey

What are you talking about Spongebob? Perhaps you could expand on which 'bonfire tunes' they were playing? And what, if anything, about what they were doing was 'up themselves'. If it was just that they were wearing black and white, then I suggest that you must have some kind of inferiority complex or other personal issue if you find that a problem. Also, what grounds to you have for calling them 'thicktons'?. I appreciate it is a word you have made up yourself (how clever of you), and I assume that you are implying that they are uneducated, but please give us the benefit of your undoubted wisom as to why you describe them as such.
Just a thought meanwhile, why not try and give us an intelligent answer this time instead of one of the childish, abusive or anti bonfire rants that you normally do.
