    1) why did she swerve to avoid a water balloon? All it would have done is got the car a bit wet - and they are waterproof, y'know.
    2) the police won't look into a complaint of someone throwing a water balloon because it isn't a crime. If there were lots of complaints of bad behaviour from a group of kids hanging around, then they'd go and have a word with them and maybe move them on / send them home. But they cetainly won't waste their time on something like that on the basis of one person being a bit grumpy. I'm sure they have better things to do.
    3) leaving Christmas decorations isn't a crime either. And nor should either of these things be a crime, unless we all want to live in a totalitarian state (personally I'm not too keen).
