La Boheme - The New London Opera Players
Directed by Sophie Gilpin and designed by Louie Londt.
“Chi son? Sono un poeta. Che cosa faccio? Scrivo. E come vivo? Vivo.”
In present day North London four impoverished young artists do what they can to get by in a degenerate world. One moonlit night a chance encounter will change their lives forever, but sometimes even true love is not powerful enough for a fairytale ending. Puccini’s masterpiece speaks as clearly now as it did over 100 years ago. With laughter and tears in equal measure this opera epitomises life, love and loss.
Sung in Italian.
Tickets £59 including a 3 course supper.
