English tunes session, The John Harvey Tavern
Bring instruments to join in traditional English dance tunes - jigs, hornpipes, polkas, waltzes, marches - in the downstairs room next to the bar. For an idea of the sort of tunes we play, see the Lewes Saturday Folk Club website. Pick them up by ear and play the notes you like. Most are in G, with a few in D, E minor and A minor.
