    New Xmas lights, funded by Tesco and Waitrose(!) switched on outside Waitrose at 5.30pm. Opening ceremony with fireworks at 6pm at the castle. (Golly, what a shlep from Waitrose up to the castle.) Santa's grotto from 5.30pm at Lewes House.
