• The Earl of Uxbridge lost his leg at the Battle of Waterloo. He turned to the Duke of Wellington and said: "By God, sir, I've lost my leg!" ? to which Wellington replied, "By God, sir, so you have!" The leg was then buried in the Waterloo garden of Hyacinthe Joseph-Marie Paris (a man). Maybe this too could be acquired for the Lewes Museum of Discarded Body Parts?


• When We lived on Malling we always admired Borough's display when watching from waterloo. Now we live in Nevill we admire Waterloo and not so much of the one above my head. This year Im going to have a picnic on the racecourse and watch all the displays before giving a verdict

• Havant and Waterlooville are the visitors to the Dripping Pan. Come and support the Lewes boys. Kick off 3pm. KIDS GO FREE. Bar open all game and plenty of Harveys on tap. :)
