Dubois Bed and Breakfast
Rooms from: £40
38 Prince Edwards Rd
Lewes BN7 1BE

t: 01273 479865
We offer a warm and friendly welcome in our Victorian family home, which is situated in a tree lined residential road about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and station. There is always space to park outside the house. If you are arriving by train, there is a good taxi service at the station, or we are happy to provide transport if convenient.

We have two beautiful rooms, a twin and a double, and if you click on Accommodation, you will see and read about them in more detail.

Guests in either room are welcome to use the peaceful sitting room any time during their stay, where there is a cosy open fire on chilly days.

We have a lovely garden, and in Summer guests often breakfast outside where there are several pretty and sheltered spots to sit and relax.

We very much look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to Dubois Bed and Breakfast.

2 School Cottages
East Chiltington BN7 3AY

B&B in a recycled cabin in East Chiltington, rural Lewes, and in the South Downs National Park, where the focus is on macrobiotic and whole foods.
Experience a truly bespoke recycled cabin with whole food breakfast (accommodating vegetarians, vegans, & those with specialised diets). Situated in an area of outstanding beauty in the South Downs National Park, the accommodation lies in the gentle, rural hamlet of East Chiltington. Here, you can walk, cycle or horse-ride along the South Downs Way, enjoy traditional ales & high quality food at the local Jolly Sportsman or Half Moon pub, visit Plumpton Agricultural College or Plumpton horse racing, and the artist's community of Ditchling.
Within a 30 minute drive are many other local attractions: the historical towns of Lewes and Brighton, the Universities of Sussex and Brighton, the internationally renowned Glyndebourne opera, the spectacular Seven Sisters coastline (e.g. Burling Gap, Cuckmere Haven); the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry is nearby and there is a fast train connection to London at Plumpton, in the neighbouring village.
Recycled from a de-comissioned Sussex barn, the cabin is something akin to an old fashioned railway carriage with a contemporary twist. It sits in a corner of the garden, & although is in sight of the house, it feels very cosy & private inside. With an abundance of wooden features it has a real grounding & nurturing atmosphere. Very conducive to a good night's sleep.
It is surprisingly spacious, comprising a double cabin bed with natural fibre mattress and bedding, en-suite shower room & w/c, with fridge, butler's sink, washing machine and kettle with complementary herbal teas. Wi Fi connection available. Breakfast is prepared by resident macrobiotic cook. Lunch boxes, lunches and dinners plus macrobiotic cooking tuition are all available on request.

B&B single occupancy: from £35 per night

B&B double occupancy from £65 per night
including breakfast.

St Martin's Lane
Lewes BN7 1UD

Located in a quiet twitten in the centre of the historic town of Lewes, our light and airy
modern house is a minute's walk from the High Street restaurants and shops. We are close
to the station and bus stops, providing fast access to Brighton, London and the south coast.

With its castle and medieval street plan, Lewes is well worth exploring in it's own right.
It still has many distinctive one-off shops, as well as outstanding pubs and restaurants.
Glyndebourne Opera House is nearby and the town is an excellent base for exploring
the new South Downs National Park and the many Bloomsbury connections.
